Question

where is the recommended location of termination of concrete pouring?

Answer
Hi Awi,
The concrete termination point you're talking about is commonly known as construction joint. These construction joints are normally spaced to match the control joints in other words the termination point of concrete pours needs to have a cold joint which will become a control joint.

If the concrete you're pouring is going to be exposed concrete such as that of exposed floor slab, driveway, or sidewalk it is extremely important that the spacing for the control joint and construction joint match.

If the pour is for concrete that will be covered with carpet or tile, the spacing of the construction joint and control joints don't really matter because they will be covered.

Hope this helps
good luck
